Grow your future with Baygold

I came to Baygold because of the opportunities, but I’ve stayed because of the people. Much of my role focuses on supporting our RSE workforce from Fiji, Vanuatu, and Papua New Guinea, and one of the most rewarding parts of my job is helping people grow, develop confidence, and reach their potential.Harvest brings together our RSE workers alongside New Zealand-based teams from many different cultures and backgrounds, all united by a common purpose. Seeing people work together, create better opportunities for their families, and grow into leaders gives me a real sense of purpose. New Zealand may not be their home, but for much of the year it becomes one, and the people I work alongside become an extension of my family.

I came to Baygold from a completely different industry looking for a new challenge, so there was definitely a steep learning curve. What stood out to me straight away was the quality of the people and how willing everyone was to share their knowledge and help me get up to speed. I enjoy being part of a team that’s always looking for ways to do things better, be the best in Kiwi Fruit space, and it’s rewarding to see the impact our work has on the orchards and growers we support every day.
